With the Framepoint software, looking at it, if you're talking kind of five days a week and we're saving three to four hours a day, then we're essentially saving 20 hours a week.

I'm Peter from Estuary View. We're basically a new startup, specialised in engineered hardwood and aluminium frames.

We've decided to go as non-showroom, which is a very big step. Us not having a showroom meant that we were almost kind of allowing the customer to use their imagination as much as possible. The Framepoint software kind of bridges that gap. It's great to be able to visually show exactly what the customer's wanting, superimpose those options onto their property and show a very clear likeness of what they're looking to achieve, and it's really opened a whole new customer experience.

It was very much a guessing game until we started to use this software in previous companies. It was always the way - you would do it on pen and paper, and then you'd go back to the office and then you'd still have to fill out a load more forms to then send it straight onto our supplier but also then use those drawings for our quoting, so you're not having to redo the same things over and over again.

We haven't had to use a pen and paper at all. Looking at it, if you're talking kind of five days a week and we're saving three to four hours a day, then we're essentially saving 20 hours a week and, inevitably, been a bit more productive and been able to sell more.

The feedback's been amazing - it really has! You can kind of almost tell that the customer's thinking, “okay, well this company kind of knows what they're doing”. And it does then set us above the competition.

We've gained a good 10% more enquiries because of our advertisements saying that we're able to use that software. It instils a bit of confidence, I believe, within the customer, but also a confidence within ourselves, because we're able to use a technology that basically you can't get anything wrong on. It's kind of a foolproof technology in that respect.

So we've been using Framepoint for remote selling. It's very, very quick and easy to use and we've been able to create products virtually as we're talking over a call, and able to send them back and forth and then change the designs. The customer would then send us a picture of their property. We could then superimpose, send it back. If they were an hour and a half away from us, then you're really allowing a whole day to do that. Whereas we've done it in 20 minutes!
