How Crystal Clear lock in a premium presentation tool that does justice to their premium brand.
With Framepoint, I save on average maybe 40, 50% of my time that it takes me to actually do a quote. From a conversion rate perspective, it's helped enormously.
I'm James Maggs from Crystal Clear Bristol. We've been in business for over 20 years. Framepoint does offer us the opportunity to prove that we are a premier supplier. We are a premier glazing company. We have a fantastic showroom. We boast Bristol's biggest showroom. We have a range of premium products and a premium service and you want to be able to present that to the customer in a way that says ‘premium’… ‘ 21st century’, and with Framepoint - job done!
I can use it on a desktop computer or a laptop or a tablet, which is where it comes into its own because you can sit there and you can draw a window with your finger. You can draw your transoms, your mullions, you can put your openers in and it's so simple and easy. The fact that we can actually upload a photograph and actually put those windows on a customer's house is again what makes it second to none, really.
The interaction you get from the customer is fantastic as well because they can say to you there and then, “can we just do that?”, “Is that possible?”, “Can I do that?”. You can actually let the customer do that and say “there you go. Just use your finger. Draw what you mean. Draw what you see.” When a customer has a vision of a fantastic new design, so they're changing the colour of their windows and changing the layouts of their windows, they quite often say, “I don’t know what it's gonna look like”, whereas we can now show them and it's quick, easy - upload a photograph, drag and drop a window, resize it and boom, there you go! There's your new house.
You can even take multiple shots of the house front, back - you can add all of that and we've had lots of good feedback. “Wow - I never knew you could do this”. So the feedback has been fantastic and most people will call in three or four quotes nowadays, and if the next man doesn't have that presentation, we may be a little bit more expensive but actually it’s sold itself just through that presentation alone.
It's 21st century. What we used previously, I felt, was very much stuck in the Dark Ages. A colleague of mine who started using it recently, who's not been with us for that long, has picked it up like a duck to water, basically, and he loves it - he absolutely loves it - and he's the first to admit that he's not very tech savvy. With Framepoint during the lockdown, they introduced the ability to do a remote quotation, essentially, so you can talk to your customer, you can design their windows for them remotely. You don't have to be in the same room. You don't even have to be in the same country, essentially. Now that's been a massive, massive benefit.
We have had customers that have been very nervous about the situation, understandably. To give them the opportunity to do that is amazing. As far as I can see with Framepoint, the sky is the limit. It's perfect! It's a massive help to us - it really is. But I'd say, yeah, take the plunge, go for it - all day, every day!
