    We’ve had great feedback from customers. The biggest problem when selling windows is helping homeowners visualise different styles and imagine what the windows will look like on their property.

    Framepoint® solves this problem perfectly: customers have been astonished and very impressed. It helps with our conversion rates and upselling, particularly with coloured profiles.


    We were previously selling face-to-face and sketching ideas on paper and using First Degree systems, but Framepoint® provides much more detail. Plus, the online training and support is fantastic. During lockdown Framepoint® allowed us to embrace remote selling and keep building our pipeline; video conferencing and screen sharing to use the app with homeowners. We’ve also used it on our social media platforms. Homeowners have reacted in a very positive way. When a potential customer makes an enquiry, we ask them to provide images of their home and we then ‘make over’ their property live online. It never fails to impress. Remote selling has proved very successful - we sold 12 jobs over lockdown and 30 jobs since, all using Framepoint®. Orders are booked to mid-September, and the enquiries keep coming in. There will always be customers who prefer face-to-face interaction, but as lockdown eases, we plan to continue with remote selling in the long-term. It’s gone so well, and many customers prefer it.

  • “I first heard about Framepoint® on Twitter. I was able to try it out online during the demo and was very impressed. It allows us to give homeowners a really professional, slick presentation. It's particularly useful in the lockdown as we're asking homeowners to take photos of their house plus an approximate size of their windows, so we can send them an estimate (subject to survey) with an overlay of the windows they want. This means we don't have to visit them at home and can sell remotely. We were doing this occasionally again before the current situation, as not every potential customer wants a salesman in their home. The best thing about Framepoint is its 'usability' - the sales team find it easy to use, and it's easier for homeowners to buy our products. It provides a real 'wow' factor when dealing face-to-face. It looks really professional and instils confidence in our company. It sets us apart. It's all about giving homeowners every reason to buy from you. Plus, it can produce very detailed professional quotes, which is a huge advantage. It’s great to be able to show customers how a particular window in their home would look in different materials, styles, or colours, and with different features. It means the customer can choose with confidence and we only need to quote for one design. 


    I can create a quote in just a few minutes, and it makes other processes quicker too. For example, it makes my life as a surveyor much easier. I no longer have to re-draw each and every window for a project. I just go to the designs that have been created during the sales process and add the precise measurements. I then simply scroll through and double check everything with the customer, who then signs off the survey. Manufacturers are notorious for only accepting their own paperwork, but most I have spoken to said they would accept Tommy Trinder order forms. They are easy to read and find the relevant information. It’s definitely made a big difference to our entire sales process and I would recommend it to installer companies of any size looking for a joined-up solution. I have even recommended it to manufacturers as a way of making pricing and ordering easier and quicker.”

    Our conversion rate has improved too - it's at least 80% when we use Framepoint. The best feature of the app is that it's so intuitive - if you need to change the measurements or other details, it just formats itself.
