We're very pleased with Tommy Trinder. If you haven't got it, that's your loss, I'm afraid. You are missing a big trick if you're out there trying to sell windows and doors without it!

Hi - Paul Kelly, Managing Director, and we've been in business for the past 40 years. You need to move with technology these days and move forward. Hence where we are today with Tommy’s bit of kit, which makes our life very easy.

The big plus is definitely the visuals. Lots of people can't visualise what a window’s going to look like if they’re going to change the style, change the colour, you need this tool to be able to show them that “that grey window’s going to look like this on this pink house - do you think that’s right now?” or whatever. With Tommy, it’s there! the colour’s there, the colour of the handle — you can view it from in, out, everything. It’s just so simple. If you can’t sell with that, then you’re in the wrong job.

The massive, massive difference is the ability to get the quote out instantly and very quickly. If you value your time and time's very important to everyone, you'd be foolish not to use it because it just saves you so many hours in a day.

The cost benefits when you look at the cost of the product and just offset that against time saving. I mean, you know your guys out on the road - they don't need to come into the office. They can go to the coffee shop, do their quote from the coffee shop, do it when they’re sat in the van waiting until the next appointment. It's just a no brainer.

Once you've got confidence in using it, it's the same with any software, isn’t it? And once you are comfortable presenting that thing in someone's house, then it's win, win, win. They expect it as well - the end user expects it. They don't expect you to turn up with a pad and piece of paper anymore. They expect you to turn up with some form of tablet or something and present it to them.

We've got all our products on there. Aluminium products, PVC, composite doors, vertical sliders. You can personalise it very much your own company, and it just makes you look more professional.

There's no need to be high-pressure selling with it because the tool shows the end user exactly what they're gonna get. You know, you've got the full toolbox, haven’t you? You just can't go wrong. It helps you win sales, which is all it's all about!
